It Malcolm Hulke can write the novelization in 42000 words it can be condensed into 90 minutes. The real issued is are the modern degenerates working for the BBC these days capable of recognising the good bits and editing them down properly. People don't want another stupid montage to stupid modern pop music written by Murray Gold like there was in The Daleks in Colour.
