Blueshirt trivia: Day of the Daleks was the first Doctor Who
story that I watched (or can remember watching) as broadcast
on BBC1 as a child. 52 years later, I still love Doctor Who
and it all started with Day of the Daleks!

I'm old enough that for me it all started with "An Unearthly
Child" back in 1963. :)

Wow! I am impressed. <claps> Well done sir.

May you continue your Doctor Who journey for many years to come
yet...
Thank you. I'm 76, so I'm hoping for at least another ten years.
The most interesting thing about those early years is how, when the show started, the Doctor was more of an anti-hero than a hero, and almost an outright villain: cowardly, querulous, selfish and conniving.
