Bugger!! As I read further in that thread, a reply by Steven K. Manfred stated "The basic fault is your premise. You say the Master said "between 12th and final regeneration." This is incorrect. He really said " *somewhere* between your twelfth and final *incarnation* " .... so opening the possibility that the 'normal' regeneration cycle WASN'T limited to twelve in the first place!!
