deal isn't up for renewal until after S2/S15 and the Sea Devil's
spin-off. That's probably why the BBC haven't commissioned
S16(S3) yet as they don't know what sort of funding will be
around for it. As without the Disney partnership, there will be
a lot less budget.

distribute it on their Disney+ service. Two completely different
things. At a guess, Disney put a lot more $ in to The Acolyte
and didn't expect the return they got! They wouldn't have spent
half as much for the Doctor Who streaming rights.
 

The FAKE NEWS claims Disney paid $200 million for two seasons of Doctor Whoke and The Wokolyte cost $250 million for one season.
I still don't see £12 million being spent on each episode unless RTD and Bad Wold pocketed most of it for their own greedy selves.

 The only perosn that mentioned renewal was you. S2/15 will be
broadcast on Disney+ in 2025 as it is part of the original deal,
after that, who knows?
 

Well, let's see, given how badly Doctor Whoke faired, getting 10 times fewer viewers than the already cancelled Wokolyte, it might not even be worth the bandwidth and storage space for Disney+ to even screen it. They might even claim it as a tax write-off like Warner did with Batgirl.
