Sony and Disney should have been the partner.

Serious answer, I personally don't really care who the BBC
partners with, if they feel they need to, if it keeps Doctor
Who in production.

Get the correct partner!
Any partner that keeps the show alive is a good partner IMO.
The hypocritical haters of Doctor Who will hate the show no
matter who the partner is. Doctor Who "finished" in 2017, yet
they'll go on about Disney "ruining" Doctor Who when they hadn't
even done the deal with the BBC for the Doctor Who streaming
rights, which was 2023.

Hey, maybe the BBC could partner up with Gobble-de-gook. I'm sure they would be interested in Gobble-de-gook letting them make use of his WWW resources to distribute their product!!
