 Second World, AIUI, was used for countries who would otherwise be First World...but were under Communist control.
 

Ah!! Is that right?? O.K.
I had thought it might have been a 'Me, You, Them' type of thing, but the 'You' nations were also being included with-in the 'Me'/Developed Nations v the Undeveloped Nations, type thing!!
