Given her name, I'd guess that rather than being a Time Lord she's a
descendant of Amy Pond / Melody Pond (River Song). I suppose if she's
the daughter of River Song, she could be the Doctor's daughter too
(though that would pose a problem in genetics!). No doubt she would
have  been told about the TARDIS.
