 The BBC also release "Doctor Who" on Blu-Rays, both the new stuff
as well as the classic era... the latter get full season
releases under the "Doctor Who Collection" banner now, instead
of the stories getting individually released like in the old
days. Season 7 is up next (Pertwee!)

By "DVD" I really meant disc fomats, so including Blu-ray and HD, etc. that they may release. The BBC will no doubt keep re-re-re-releasing the discs (each time with different cover designs and bonus content) as long as people keep buying them, just as Lucasfilm does with the Star Wars movies.
