Well there's something I have never heard said before. The
Seventh Doctor like Hercule Poirot! Captain Hastings would have

I should probably have said a (then) modern day Poirot. Sylvester McCoy is a funny little man who swaggered around using that umbrella like a walking stick ... all that was missing was the twee little mustache and the Belgian accent. :-)
