 Social media websites are best completely avoided and ignored. Similarly with "user-edited" websites like IMBD.com and Wikipedia, which are also often full of nonsense and rumours.

 And, surely, Youtube would come under that '"user-edited" websites', too, wouldn't it?? ;-P

YouTube comes under Social Media - people posting boring crap that no sane person ever wants to read / watch.
The only thing I use it for is things like TV / movie trailers, and even then it's only because the proper websites have stored the video on YouTube and embeded it in their own web page.
