The classic "cartoons interacting with humans" examples are, of course, "WhoRoger Rabbit claims to be the first, and probably was the first *full length* combination, but there were many animated / live-action combinations before that, such as Dick Van Dyke dancing with panimated penguins in the original 1964 "Mary Poppins" and of course the old Ray Harryhausen stop-motion / live-action movies.
