I'm a little surprised that Christopher Eccleston agreed to do it, as I had the impression that he hated his time doing the TV series and never wanted anything more to do with Doctor Who.
Given what others have been watching on/in "Doctor Who" in the last few years .... I'm guessing Christopher Eccleston didn't have a problem with "Doctor Who" so much as with the Director/Producer/whatever of "Doctor Who" back in 2005!!
