Overall the episode, despite being a bit on the weird side, was actually quite fun. It was almost a historical adventure when you strip away the 'God of light' stuff. Plus, RTD showed that he can still be creative in 2025 and he can actually give us something different when he puts his mind to it. Of course, being an RTD written episode also means that a lot of plot detail went AWOL, with a lot of the reasoning behind events missing. (Probably to all be explained in the season finale.) Regarding Mrs Flood, my own theory is that she could turn out to be the child of River Song, thereby extending the watery names theme to a third generation.

"Mrs Flood" would be her married name, so the potential child of River Song would actually have to be be Mr Flood.  :-)
We've had Melody Pond and River Song, so maybe it is Jingle Flood or Riff Flood.  ;-)
