I have no idea HOW these modern boxes work.
When you record a program, does your box, somehow, send a signal back to the T.V. station??
When you watch a recorded program, does your box, somehow, then send a signal back to the T.V. station??
When you re-re-re-watch a recorded program, does your ........??
