I don't know.  I've taken the Rani to be much more cold and cruel than
Missy is....much more like the Master in that respect.  I've always seen
Rani and the Master to be very similar, especially when able to watch
them both in Mark of the Rani.
 

The Rani once said the Master would get dizzy if he ever tried
to walk in a straight line.

Her latest plan would make her dizzy just lying motionless on
the floor!
