 I don't think Missy had the same effect on AGA that the 13th
Doctor/Timeless Child storyline did. People still reasonably
discussed the new episodes here... of course, more people could
watch the episodes back then so there was more active posters
and more discussion. (Meaning a higher signal to noise ratio!)
 A Master with tits might have been a problem that needed to be
fixed... but it is a Doctor with tits that was the straw that
broke the camel's back! It all went haywire for Aggy and Dave
during Chris Chibnall's era of the show. - They have still
not recovered!

The Timeless Child monster was the stray that broke the camel's back and you could see it happening from the stat of Jodie Whittaker's first season.
