So Doctor Ncuti sends his regeneration energy into the console.
Rose Tyler looked under the hood and absorbed the time vortex.
Doctor Chris had to suck it out of her to save her life.
Now Idris (the TARDIS) is annoyed with the Doctor, and has
absorbed an image of Rose Tyler all those years ago, and spits
it back at him.
The finale ending now makes sense to me!
