That’s OK. The infertility was tied to a specific origin for the
Time Lords and the Doctor that’s now been junked for the
Timeless Child instead.

Put simply, millennia ago a witch cursed Gallifrey (yes, really!)
turning it infertile. All new Time Lords were clones grown in
genetic Looms (including the Doctor, who’s the clone of an
ancient Time Lord scientist called the Other.)

I’m simplifying a little bit, but you get the idea.
