The idea of the Daleks was created by Terry Nation, and his estate
still owns the copyright for the characters, although the BBC does
own the copyright for the pepper-pot design.
Oh. Shame they can't just buy the rights.
I wonder how much The Estate makes from each apparence of The Daleks in Doctor Who.
Or invent something new with that design. :P
I reckon THAT would probably end up in Court .... with The BBC loosing.
