And the thing is...when most of us x-post it is either on

There's no such thing as an "inadvertent x-post". You damn
well know that yads crossposts invariably. You damn well know
that any followup to yads is troll feeding and never on topic,
but you do it anyway. You damn well know that you, the author,
are responsible for your own followup, and that includes
cutting the crosspost.
Cutting the crosspost IF they feel the newsgroup concerned is
not the place for that post. "Doctor Who" is a sci-fi [ish]
television programme and its fans are part of a fandom.
Meaning, that rec.arts.sf.fandom 'could' be considered a
relevant newsgroup where some people might be interested in
"Doctor Who" talk. The fact that some of them are not is not
the point. That's why newsreaders have filter options.
And sometimes, if one is replying to something in a hurry, one
sometimes--not constantly--forgets to check to see if there is a x-post
that might need to be removed, and it gets x-posted by accident...hence
the term "inadvertent".
You are all the most vile people who have ruined this
newsgroup and are responsible for ruining other newsgroups if
you crosspost in troll-feeding followup to yads.
Keith F. Lynch made a reasonable request. No one wants yads
nor any of yads' nonstop troll feeders on Usenet. You ruin
newsgroups and you do it deliberately.
It is a reasonable request, from his POV... but I still say the
easiest solution is for him to use his killfile or just filter
the relevant threads. (i.e. generally those started by Mr
Yadallee.) If he doesn't know how to, now is the time to learn...
At this point, unless someone got their very first Usenet connection
within the past week, if they don't know how to use a killfile or how to
filter threads...then they really don't want to know how, and won't take
the 30 seconds to learn now.
I have to read this newsgroup, or at least glance at the index
of topics, to junk all the articles to get rid of the
crossposted contamination in the rest of Usenet.
I despise each and every one of you troll feeders.
You're welcome.
Now have a nice cup of tea and look at the beautiful world
outside your window...
I think there are just some people in the world who would rather
complain than use the resources at their disposal to make their day easier.
You know, this is a series of firsts for me. First time being accused
of deliberately destroying Usenet /in/ /toto/, first time being called
"vile", and the first time being told that I'm "despised". All while it
is still fairly early in the morning for me. Think I'll have some eggs
and bacon to celebrate.
Mr. Kerman lives to lecture people about Usenet and how they are doing
it totally wrong. Demanding people to post actual topics only to their
own group period.
Then he never posts anything on topic or generates new discussions.
