Although Dreamworks's THE WILD ROBOT, on Netflix, was well-received by
critics and audiences, it didn't quite rise above my cloy threshold.
(It's no IRON GIANT.) However, it's been a while since I've watched
state-of-the-art animation, and I was transfixed. Recommended.
It kind of jumped the shark for me when the animals pledged to stop
eating each other and started building fires.
My inner shark had hopes early on when the baby possum got eaten. But then, 10 seconds later...
