With footsteps quiet and slow,
At a tranquil pace,
Under veils of white lace.

Excellent find excellent read GD...
Thank you for commenting and giving more people a chance to read it,
Zod. It is indeed an excellent poem, and Wylie is a major talent who's
sadly been mainly forgotten.

She published 3 collections of poetry and 4 novels in the 1920s, but
died in 1928 aged just 43. At the time of her death she was married to
her third husband, poet William Rose Benet; his poem "Sagacity" is about
her.

Hi there G.D....

Can ye see this here post today...?

Yes; I'm not having a problem reading your posts. I saw your Danchall
topic on RAP, too. So, to bring this thread back on topic; did you watch
the video of this poem on PPB? It's something I've added to my list for
the "fusion" Dancehall. (Unfortunately, I don't know who's singing.)

Going for a look-see now... and hope that "FUSION" is not too much of a
nebulous topic..!

It is vague. I think that won't matter for posting, since I expect only
the four of us, and we all understand it by now. But I am worried about
viewers finding it on YT or wherever and having no idea what it is. I
don't have a better one, though. I'm thinking of adding "(of poetry and
music)" onto the title; how does that work for you?
Coming into this discussion late, but interesting reading.
