The simplest alternative is to avoid watching a television program that
has deteriorated in quality to the stage where it is deemed "bad" by
parts of its fandom.
I agree, those people who think it's bad, should stop watching it. I, for one, will continue watching, and mostly enjoying, it, assuming these grumps haven't gotten it canceled.
