What gives us even more points is that this deputy mayor was the one in
charge
of the police and fire departments, which is one of the reasons no one had

idea who was in charge during the January fires. With Karen Bass at a
cocktail
party in Africa and this deputy mayor suspended and under house arrest, the
city was stumbling around like a headless chicken.

Regardless of the accuracy of the metaphor, it illustrates just how truly
fucked we are with this set of 'progressive' clowns in charge.
