Nope. Even the 'productive' ones are sending the majority of what
they make back to their home countries. They're contributing, sure,
but not to the U.S.

You're the one saying they should be shielded from enforcement because of
their productivity. That makes the question of who benefits from that
productivity relevant.

I'm not saying shield them from enforcement. I'm pointing out that we
should be in favor of productivity and not doing things that harm
productivity. Cato Institute, absurdly far to the right but libertarian,
had a good suggestion about giving those who come here to work visas to
do so -- no welfare -- that are easily revokable if they cause trouble.
This would not be a path to citizenship, which would have to be an
entirely separate process.

I think that's a reform Congress should pass.

Speaking of which, she's probably running for mayor of Chicago, a first-
generation Mexican ethnic born here. She's state comptroller. Her job
is literally criticizing state spending and the lies about balanced
budgets. She routinely criticized Brandon Johnson.

She's a normal politician who doesn't come off as a Commie in any way.

Good thing she's a citizen. I don't know that she meets the hotness quotient.

She's in her mid 50s. I think she looks good, and these days I find "not
a Communist" very appealing.
