It's dead!!
How long has it been dead, Bones?
It's only mostly dead. There's a big difference between mostly dead
and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive.
It's not even slightly alive. They refuse to order any new scripted
television series, which is a huge indication that they themselves see
abslutely no future in broadcast television as a fifth network. Their
scripted shows are foreign imports. This is the ION Television route
which was never a fifth network. PTEN, the WB, and UPN all tried harder
to be successful fifth networks than the C-Wub ever did.
All American is their very last drama from the old days, I believe. Its
lead actor didn't sign on for season 7, which means it should have
concluded in season 6. I doubt the new cast will find an audience and
there won't be a season 8.
