No I wasn't. Even then Davies was filling the show with references to homosexuality and bestiality on top of that. Remember Gridlock? But at least back then he hadn't gone fully woke and didn't engage in lazy writing. Chibnall on the other hand was a shit writer from the start, and everyone knew it.
Could it possibly be that Christopher found out what RTD was really like way back then ..... and you two are just catching up??
I never belittled Eccleston for quitting. Eccleston found out that Davies was a self-centred, self-serving, egotistical bigot very early on. We had to wait over a decade for the truth of Davies abuse and disrespect of the cast and crew to come out.
