willing to work with him, on a bill written by them and would have
authorized more money for border issues. And even if he issued a
presidential order, how is it going to be enforced?

Did you read anything I wrote? I'm pro immigration. I thought the
compromise bill should have become law.

Of course I did, it's not your post I was replying to. I want to know what BTR thinks should be done to 'secure' the border.

In the immediate instance of what we are discussing -- Jose Ibarra --
the border would have been secured just fine if at immigration it had been
discovered that he was already identified as a member of a dangerous gang,
an excellent reason for him to NOT be allowed into the country.
There are things that can be dealt with without the proposed legislation.
The border isn't even secure from known bad actors who present themselves
at a port of entry? That's absurd, and that's not due to lack of
legislation or funding.
