Savings time has been around for as long as I remember and I'm old.
They did lengthen it several years ago and now you have kids trick or
treating while the sun is still up.
It's safer that way...
Even safer to ban silly Halloween altogether.
Outside of a police state, how do you ban Halloween?
I'm trying to envision a scenario where the government could legally
prohibit people from walking their kids around their own neighborhood
and getting treats from their neighbors.
They certainly couldn't stop all the decorations and the parties. That's
1st Amendment-protected activity and expression.
