 Jude H. Cormier Obituary
 Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at 1 p.m. in the
Chapel of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home for Jude H. Cormier, 55, who died
Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 8:48 p.m. at Louisiana Extended Care in
Lafayette.

Fr. Johnathan Janise, Pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church,
will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours
Wednesday from 9 a.m. to service time. A rosary will be recited at 11 a.m.
by Knight of Columbus Council #6959 of Egan. Burial will be in St. Lawrence
Cemetery in Mowata.
 Jude is survived by his mother, Joanna Aucoin Miller and her husband Jesner
of Mowata; one brother, Nathan Cormier and his wife Claudia of Crowley; two
nieces, Amanda and Eulalie Cormier; three nephews, Derek Cormier, Evans
Cormier, Jr. and Nathan Paul Cormier.
 He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Nathan Cormier; one brother,
Evans “Gumbo” Cormier, Sr., maternal grandparents, Louis and Nancy O’Quin;
paternal grandparents, Evans and Marie Miller Cormier.
 Pallbearers will be Nathan Cormier, Evans Cormier, Jr., Nathan Paul
Cormier, Derek Cormier, Shane Bellon, and Jason Babineaux.
