Another high note for Kim Foxx to leave office on

As BTR1701 has pointed out, Kim Foxx was "one of those" prosecutors who
refused to prosecute "nonviolent" protestors of the death of George
Floyd who broke the law. Basically, there were no local prosecutions for
anything, including violence, vandalism, arson, and looting, all of
which were either committed by protestors or criminals who simply took
advantage of police being distracted by protestors to make arrests
elsewhere, even in situations in which the looting was blocks away from
a large protest.

Kim Foxx now says that she finds it possible to prosecute any
"inconvenient lefties" who might try to disrupt the Democratic National
Convention.

I thought the Trib's editorial meanders but it sort of makes points.

There was one prosecution -- federal -- for a guy who set a vehicle on
fire amidst a large crowd of protestors. He finally got sentences, but
he's been in pre-trial confinement for years due to odd delays in the
case which I don't understand. He was sentenced to prison for one month
longer than the time he's sat in jail, so essentially time served.
