Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) suddenly snapped at an MSNBC anchor
who corrected her during a Sunday appearance on the left-leaning network.

Pelosi was pushing President Joe Bidens economic record, saying the
president has created nine million jobs since taking office.

Donald Trump has the worst record of job loss of any president, Pelosi
said. So we just have to make sure people know.

Pelosi is shocked that an MSNBC host would dare call her out and
brands her a Trump apologist for doing so.

There was a global pandemic, MSNBC anchor Katy Tur interjected.

He had the worst record of any president, Pelosi shot back after a brief
stunned pause. Weve had other concerns in our country. If you want to be an
apologist for Donald Trump that may be your role, but it aint mine.

I dont that think anybody can accuse me of that, Tur responded.

Tur has been a vocal critic of Trump since his 2016 presidential campaign
Trump has even expressed his frustration with her personally in the years
since, once even telling her to be quiet during a press conference.

Meanwhile, MSNBC is a favorite target of Trump. The network is home to many
leftist hosts who consistently criticize the former president and his
administration.

The Biden campaign is attempting to highlight the presidents economic record
leading up to November.

However, as Tur pointed out, many of the job gains over the last few years
simply compensate for those lost during the pandemic.

Overall, Americans are not happy with Biden on the economy.

About 57% of all voters somewhat or strongly disapproved of the way Biden is
handling the economy, according to a poll earlier this month from Echelon
Insights. Voters favored Trump on the economy by 48% to 40%, the poll
found.

Inflation has soared since Biden took office. One analysis found that
Americans needed more than $11,000 more last year to maintain the same
standard of living they enjoyed at the beginning of 2021.

The inflation rate has slowed slightly since 2021 when it spiked to the
highest levels in four decades, but many American families still say they are
struggling more financially now than before the pandemic.

Biden is also lagging behind Trump in the polls in general.

The latest polling shows Trump slightly ahead of Biden nationally and in
seven key battleground states that will be vital to the elections outcome:
Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and
Wisconsin.

Around this time in 2020, Biden was leading Trump, and around this time in
2016, Hillary Clinton was leading Trump, according to RealClearPolitics.
