the lady who played the role on stage knocked it out of the park.  She

Yes, it can be horrifying the major changes that are made in adaptation.
I've always wanted to see a revival of A Funny Thing Happened on the way
to the Forum because the movie adaptation is so vile (despite how much
of the Broadway cast was kept) but I've never noticed a revival.

My first time seeing it was at a two year feeder school for Georgia
Tech where a friend of mine was playing one of the guards. No lines
just him being in the background for some of the scenes. Don't
remember anything other than that about the experience so there were
no great performances that night. ;)

I have something like 11 different soundtrack albums from different
companies and different countries of forum, including the original audition
songs from before the play began and one with Whoopi Goldberg in the zero
Mostel roll!
