The new Disney+ STAR WARS animated series TALES OF THE EMPIRE just
introduced a nonbinary character.

Libs of TikTok shared the clip in question on X. "New STAR WARS show on
Disney+ TALES OF THE EMPIRE features a non-binary character that uses
they/them pronouns," the caption says. "Parents, make sure you know what
your kids are watching! They're after your kids."

The clip is from episode five of the series, which includes six shorts. It
introduces a character about to surrender to an Inquisitor (a character who
hunts Jedi) before another Inquisitor, The Fourth Sister, strikes the Jedi
down with a lightsaber.

"They're still alive," the Inquisitor says while checking the character's
heartbeat. "We need to get them to the ship. We can save them."

The Fourth Sister replies, "Forget it. Let them die. It's not worth the
trouble."

"They were about to surrender," the Inquisitor argues.

Isn't it amusing how these Inquisitors, who think the Jedi are scum and
should be eradicated from existence-- a true genocide-- nevertheless are
careful to respect the pronouns?

They'll run you through with a lightsaber and leave you to die slowly in
agony but they won't misgender you. That would be a step too far even
for them.

That said, I have no idea what the first Inquisitor is thinking. The
Inquisitors report directly to Vader and if Vader found out one of them
took an injured Jedi in for medical treatment to save his/her/its life,
Vader would pull that Inquisitor apart limb from limb.

And Vader doesn't give a shit about your pronouns, either.

The STAR WARS franchise has dabbled in radical left-wing gender theory
before. Director J.J. Abrams bragged in 2019 that the film RISE OF
SKYWALKER would include a kiss between two women.

"In the case of the LGBTQ community, it was important to me that people who
go to see this movie feel that they're being represented in the film,"
Abrams told Variety at the time.

In reality, the quick kiss accounted for less than one second of screen
time.

And it was edited out for the Chinese, Indian, and Russian markets,
showing once again that Hollywood's social justice principles only
extend to the point where it won't cost them anything for having them.
The moment they start to affect the bottom line, the social justicey
nonsense is immediately shit-canned.

Disney also notoriously edited John Boyega (Finn) out of all the posters
and advertising for the STAR WARS concluding trilogy in China, where
they're not fond of blacks.

Again, Disney, so stunning and brave with those principles, amirite?

Disney also added two "trans and non-binary" Jedi Knights on the cover for
Marvel's STAR WARS: THE HIGH REPUBLIC comic series in 2021.

"In honor of #TransDayofVisibility we're proud to unveil an exclusive cover
highlighting Terec and Ceret, trans non-binary Jedi, currently featured in
Marvel's THE HIGH REPUBLIC comic," the official STAR WARS Instagram account
wrote in its image caption. "We support trans lives and we are passionate and
committed to broadening our representation in a galaxy far far [a]way."
