MoviePass, MovieCrash (HBO) This is a surprisingly good documentary
about the MoviePass subscription service. I can't really summarize the
events without spoiling them. But what went down made my blood boil.
If you've ever seen "The Founder" about how a Guy named McDonald founded
the food chain then the company was stolen out from under him, it's sort
of like that. Except the guys who took over MoviePass ran into the
ground. All the while the real founders were forced to watch powerless
as it all happened.
Spoilers? We all know how Moviepass turned out!
