Highland Park mass murderer Robert Crimo won't plead guilty

Last week, Lake County (Illinois) State's Attorney strongly implied that
Robert Crimo would enter into a plea agreement and change his plea to
"guilty" on all charges at a hearing in Waukegan June 26, 2024.

In court, Crimo would not respond when asked to change his plea. His
public defenders took him in back and explained the terms of the plea
bargain again, but he wouldn't change his plea.

I have no idea if this means it will proceed to trial next February or
if they'll give Crimo more chances to change his plea to avoid trial.
