Dial of Destiny lost $135 million. I wish I could blame Shia LaBeouf. At
least they killed him off, but it was too little too late.
Well, when you demote Indiana Jones to a sidekick in his own movie to a
woman of indeterminate pronouns, you're bound to tick off just about
every fan of the franchise.
Plus, Harrison Ford is just too old to be believably playing the role
these days.
I was disappointed in the lack of continuity. In the YOUNG INDIANA JONES
show, there was an episode where we got see "old Indy" in a flashforward
and he had an eyepatch, presumably from an injury incurred during his
many adventures. A movie made by people who actually care about the
material would have incorporated that into the story and shown us how he
got that eyepatch.
