I've always preferred Elton John's cover of Pinball Wizard. I'm curious, when this movie was released was he already known for doing a cover of the song or was this movie the first time he sang it?
Outside of this movie, I never heard the album. I know it was a concept album so it was supposed to have a plot. But was the plot clear? Or did the movie clarify things or make it more confusing?
I'm still trying to wrap my head around Tommy wasn't actually blind and deaf. How many people were tricked by that song? At this point, I'm almost ready to question if even knew how to play pinball or if that was a lie too! LOL
