It wasn't a very narrow pardon either: it was a blanket pardon for
anything Hunter Biden did over a 10 year period.

 

He waited until late Sunday evening to announce the pardon, no doubt
hoping that no one would notice. I wonder how the media will react? I
wonder how Trump will react?

 
Trump doesn't give a shit. He intends to pardon himself for any federal
crimes he may have committed in the past and into the future, and he
would have done so regardless of Hunter benefitting from his father's
power.

That's not cover when Trump already did this the last time he was in
office. Well, I'm sure it will be considered cover but only by those
who were already going to support what ever Trump did. If anything it
could be used to say why pardons aren't such a good thing when they
can be abused, or so I heard someone say before.
