 Just wish people a Merry Christmas - unless you know for a fact they don't celebrate Christmas - and be done with it. I'll bet the only people you offend are the "progressives" who THINK *other* people will be offended. Fuck the "progressives" and the horses they rode in on!

The issue would seem to be whether potential offense was purposely ignored.  E.g., blacks say "nigger" all the time, but *you* can't, simply because you *know* you can't.  So, Mrs. Goldstein won't be offended when your 5-year-old wishes her a "Merry Christmas", or even when *you* do if she thinks you're fresh off the boat...
