Yesterday, I mostly tried to catch up on soaps while I did other stuff. I'm not even sure how many episodes of each soap I got through - it was roughly a week's worth of episodes each - and I'm not going to synopsize the storylines. But I am not almost caught up with DOOL and Y&R, and I think I'm still only 2 or 3 episodes behind on GH.
 I also saw:
Due Date (on Netflix right now) - 2010 comedy film starring Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis. This is more "mean-spirited" comedy than I like (that seems to be Galifianakis' comedy "brand"), but I liked it anyway because Robert Downey Jr. is enjoyably out of his "comfort zone" in this film.
Sidenote: I was surprised to discover that Galifianakis had never actually guest-starred on "Two and a Half Men"...

I recognize the name, but I don't recall the plot.  Did this have something to do with a pregnancy, or am I just thinking of Knocked up?

 What did you watch?

I'm still powering through movies in my collection.  Now I'm going to dive into animation for the next few weeks.  I'll be watching some old favorites I've watched before but a lot of movies still in the shrink wrap.  I'm going to try (more or less) to watch them in release order by decade.
First up, I watched a few Charlie Brown movies.  These have been in the shrink wrap for years.  I only wanted "Race for your life Charlie Brown" but it only came as part of a set so I waited until I had time to watch them all.  They were all better than I was expecting and loaded with unexpected nostalgia from when I watched them when I was little.  I especially liked, "No Dogs Allowed" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpsmW-s4Z1A
And I still love "Race for your life Charlie Brown."  It's my favorite, but the others held my interest well enough too.
Fantastic Planet (blu-ray) 1973 French animated sci-fi movie.  The movie is set on an alien planet where humans are kept as pets by giant aliens.   The aliens think of humans as nothing more than simple pets but soon discover humans aren't as dumb as they think.  It holds up well enough, I think I probably appreciate this movie more now than I did when I was younger.  I never noticed before now, but I think "Battlefield Earth" ripped off this movie's plot.  They just changed the setting to Earth.
Wizards (blu-ray) 1977 Ralph Bakshi classic, set millions of years after an apocalypse has wiped out human civilization and replaced it with mutants and wizards.  An evil mutant wages a war against non mutants while his good wizard twin brother leads a group against him.  This is a movie that the first time I saw it, I didn't really care much for, but I've watched it again and again over the years, and I keep liking it more and more.  The first time I saw it, I hated the ending, but now I anticipate that climatic moment when things are settled.  I should also mention the picture quality on the blu-ray looked excellent.
