'The Spy Who Loved Me'.  Did you know that Roger Moore was Eon's first choice for Bond back before 'Dr. No'?  But he was unavailable until 'Live and Let Die'.
 

 That sounds vaguely familiar.  I also recall hearing Ian Fleming wanted Christopher Lee (who Fleming is related to) to play Bond but the studio went with Connery instead or maybe it was Moore instead.
  In just a few more months I *should* be into my Bond rewatch.  :-)

 Several years ago I bought everything from Dr. No through The Spy Who Loved Me on sale at Big Lots for $3 each. I also own the first two Craig Bonds.
 Too bad about Big Lots folding up the tent, BTW. Another casualty of online commerce I guess.

 We still have them around here. Maybe it was just your local store.

I believe I heard something about them being bought out by some investors who plan on keeping some of the stores open but I was in my local one last week and they had going out of business discount signs on everything.
