I'm going from memory, and my memory may be a little rusty, but I think maybe "The World Is Not Enough" is his best. And perhaps his last one, "Die Another Day" is probably the weakest. "Die Another Day" is the one with the North Korean villain. Perhaps best to start with "Golden Eye" and go from there in release order? There are only 4, if you like one, you'll probably like them all.

What did you watch?

That sounds vaguely familiar. I also recall hearing Ian Fleming wanted Christopher Lee (who Fleming is related to) to play Bond but the studio went with Connery instead or maybe it was Moore instead.

In just a few more months I *should* be into my Bond rewatch. :-)
Several years ago I bought everything from Dr. No through The Spy Who Loved Me on sale at Big Lots for $3 each. I also own the first two Craig Bonds.

Too bad about Big Lots folding up the tent, BTW. Another casualty of online commerce I guess.

I don't particularly care to own any more of the Moores but I should probably get a couple of the best Brosnan ones, I always liked him. Any suggestions? Goldeneye? I remember seeing the one with North Korea as the villain in the theater and thought it was pretty good.
