Sounds an awful lot like THE CANNIBALS, an unpublished Stephen King novel.
Except in King's story, it's not a house, it's an entire apartment building
full of people who suddenly find they can't open any of the doors or windows
in their building and all communication with the outside world is cut off.

TEACUP Canceled at Peacock after One Season  (Jan. 17)

Godammit! There was NO resolution to the story whatsoever in the last
episode.
