  'The Spy Who Loved Me'.  Did you know that Roger Moore was Eon's first
  choice for Bond back before 'Dr. No'?  But he was unavailable until

    That sounds vaguely familiar.  I also recall hearing Ian Fleming wanted
  Christopher Lee (who Fleming is related to) to play Bond but the studio
  went with Connery instead or maybe it was Moore instead.
    In just a few more months I *should* be into my Bond rewatch.  :-)

    Several years ago I bought everything from Dr. No through The Spy Who
  Loved Me on sale at Big Lots for $3 each. I also own the first two
  Craig Bonds.
    Too bad about Big Lots folding up the tent, BTW. Another casualty of
  online commerce I guess.

probably get a couple of the best Brosnan ones, I always liked him. Any
