Scent of a Woman (TCM) 1992 drama starring Chris O'Donnell as a kid
attending an elite prep school on scholarship.  He witnesses some of the
rich kids playing a prank that really upsets the headmaster and the
headmaster demands O'Donnell tell on the kids or else.  But the main
story involves O'Donnell being hired to look after Al Pacino who plays
an obnoxious newly blind ex-solider who is taking taking the loss of his
eyesight very well.  Pacino tricks O'Donnell into joining him on a trip
to New York where Pacino mentors O'Donnell teaching him life lessons,
whether O'Donnell wants him to or not.  This is one of those movies that
I'm sure I never saw it before, but thanks to endless clips on TV, it
felt like I have seen it before.  In particular I kept waiting for the
courtroom scene from all the clips, and when it finally happened, they
weren't even in a real courtroom.
