So, by your theory, the only ones criticizing her are Republicans and they are only doing so for partisan reasons. All the Democrats in a strongly blue state are absolutely fine with her being out of town for the first part of the crisis and none of them are questioning her judgment.
Challenge to BTR, who surely knows the political affiliations of her critics better than I do: can you kindly identify some Democrats who have criticized Bass?
