Watson [new] (10 pm ET/7 pm PT, CBS; time approximate
following NFL coverage)

Morris Chestnut stars as Dr. John Watson in a present-day medical
mystery procedural set six months after Sherlock Holmes is murdered by
Moriarty, with Watson now running a clinic dedicated to treating rare
diseases. Eve Harlow, Peter Mark Kendall, and Inga Schlingmann also
star. After tonight's special premiere following the AFC Championship
game in all time zones, the series will return (in its regular Sunday 10
pm timeslot) with its second episode on Feb. 16. Repeats on Sunday, Feb.
9, at 9 pm and on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 8 pm.

I'm thinking about sampling this tonight.

I will surely watch "Suits L.A." later (this week?) as well.

Vienna Blood (season 4 finale) (10 pm, CBS)

Something for Anim... to complain about!!  ;p

This makes no fucking sense. The penultimate episode of season four still
hasn't shown up on the gray. And CBS? Are we sure that isn't supposed to be
PBS?

Yes. I've done that before.

OK, this is totally fubar.

IMDB has four episodes listed for season four.

The first two are THE MEPHISTO WALTZ part one and two.

I got those from the gray. But the IMDb episode descriptions for all four
episodes are what happened in the two parts I've seen.

OK, I see what happened. IMDb started listing season four with the
butchered half length PBS versions. So season four is actually shorter than
the first three seasons not longer.

And PBS seems to have renamed the episodes to add to the confusion.

So the entire season is actually two 90 minute episodes, the Mephisto waltz
part one and part two

But PBS and IMDb cut part one in half and renamed it as part one and part
two and then instead of renaming the actual part two as part three and part
four gave them random names.

Idiots.

You've probably seen this, but Futon Critic gives the names as follows:

1/26/25 (Su.) 10:00 PM PBS (#404) The Face of Mephisto
1/19/25 (Su.) 10:00 PM PBS (#403) The Enemy Within
1/12/25 (Su.) 10:00 PM PBS (#402) A Winning Hand
1/5/25 (Su.) 10:00 PM PBS (#401) Mephisto Waltz

Wiki gives the same names:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vienna_Blood_(TV_series)

I explained all this weeks ago. For whatever reason, PBS is reluctant to
air episodes in 90 minute time slots, so we get 90 minute episodes cut
into two 60 minute episodes with 15 minutes of filler.

The half episode titles are for the American broadcast only.

I held off watching till both halves of the first aired, but I haven't
watched the other yet.
