I watched:

Law & Order: SVU - "The Grid Plan" - I honestly though they were doing
an episode where the accused was innocent.  But since they didn't go
down that path, I'm seriously wondering why they didn't even try to come
up with a motive.

The L&O Judge actually made the right call this time when denying Carisi's
objection to the relevance of the victim's MS!

The jury was obviously a TV jury that was obligated to return the verdict the
TV writers wanted because there's no way Carisi proved his case beyond a
reasonable doubt.

The post-verdict scene at the end where Olivia is walking with the victim and
her husband in Times Square and they exchange a few parting words before the
couple heads back to Iowa was ridiculous.

How are we supposed to imagine that occurred? They walk out of the courthouse
together in Foley Square at the south end of Manhattan and the couple starts
to say goodbye but Olivia says, "Wait, let's get in the car and fight traffic
30 minutes up to Times Square and get out and say our goodbyes there so we can
have relevant Broadway scenery in the background."
