Interesting. Does this finally mean there will be no more shenanigans with Netflix releasing stuff unannounced?!
(Even if that's true, Tubi will still be throwing lots and lots of random stuff up every week without ever announcing any of it!...)

I was Octomom: The Natalie Suleman Story      (movie)        (8 pm, Lifetime Channel)
"I Was Octomom" stars Kristen Lee Gutoskie (The Handmaid’s Tale, Chicago Fire) as Natalie Suleman; Caitlin Stryker (A Million Little Things) as her best friend Beth; and Anita Wittenberg (Cruel Instruction) as her mother Angela. Told from her perspective, the movie follows Suleman’s journey starting from her decision to have one more IVF procedure to complete her then family of six, to becoming a mother of 14, having survived her life being torn apart by the tabloid media.
I already said I am passing on this one - it's a pro-Suleman fluff piece, and Kristen Lee Gutoskie no longer looks as good as she once did (esp. playing Suleman!).

The Reluctant Royal       (movie)          (8 pm, Hallmark Channel)
Philly mechanic Johnny is surprised to learn that his long-lost father is a duke. But the duke isn’t quite what he expected, nor are his growing feelings for the duke’s advisor Prudence. Stars Andrew Walker and Emilie de Ravin.
I might have watched this, but I have a backlog of unwatched Lifetime/LMN flicks that I've DVR'ed that I'd rather get to instead.

         Sunday, March 9
American Idol         (season 23 premiere)        (8-10 pm, ABC)
[Last Sunday there was a post-Oscars preview show for season 23.]
Gah.

The Last Woman Who Lived Here      (movie)        (8 pm, Lifetime Channel)
Seeking a fresh start, Charlotte and her husband Joel pack up their lives in the big city and head to the suburbs, where they find an incredible deal on a beautiful home. Yet all is not what it seems. Their house is “the murder house,” and Charlotte soon finds clues left by the former resident before her murder, making her question which one of their neighbors knew all along and has been covering it up. Tamara Almeida, David Chinchilla, Cindy Sampson, and Morgan Kelly star.
I may or may not watch this "live" (I don't have to work on Monday, which increases the odds that I'll watch it live) but I will certainly record it if I don't.

Dark Winds        (season 3 premiere)          (9 pm, AMC)
Eight episodes running through April 27; already renewed for season 4.
Another series I've never managed to get to, and Spectrum dragging its feet on giving its subscribers AMC+ isn't helping.

The Righteous Gemstones       (final season 4 premiere)           (10 pm, HBO)
Nine episodes running through May 4.
Nobody around here ever watched this, did they?...
(It seems like an "Obveeus" kind of show.)

No!
But typical that this ended up on Netflix, which really seems to be going for the LCD audience lately...  :/

Everybody's Live With John Mulaney        [new]             (10 pm ET/ 7 pm PT, Netflix)
Utilizing the same format—including co-host Richard Kind and in-studio robot Saymo—of last year's one-week stunt "Everybody's in L.A.," John Mulaney's new weekly talk show will stream live each Wednesday for at least the next 12 weeks.
The only thing on Netflix I might be tempted to watch...

Kraven the Hunter        (movie; streaming premiere)          (3:01 am, Netflix)
Kraven's [Aaron Taylor-Johnson] complex relationship with his ruthless father, Nikolai Kravinoff, starts him down a path of vengeance with brutal consequences, motivating him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but also one of its most feared. 2h 7m.
Well, if Netflix has it, I truly will never see it...

Long Bright River           [new; complete limited series]        (3:01 am, Peacock)
Amanda Seyfried heads the cast of an eight-episode thriller (streaming in its entirety today) adapted from the best-selling novel by Liz Moore. Seyfried plays a Philadelphia police officer who begins to realize that a series of murders on her patrol beat may be tied to her own personal history. Nicholas Pinnock, John Doman, Ashleigh Cummings, and Callum Vinson also star.
I like her, and even the premise here, but I don't see how I will ever fit this in!

     Broadcast and cable:

         Friday, March 14
       Streaming:
Dope Thief           [new]            (12:01 am, Apple TV+)
Originally ordered in 2022 under the title "Sinking Spring," this eight- episode crime drama comes from screenwriter Peter Craig (Top Gun: Maverick, The Batman) in his TV debut. The series is based on a book by Dennis Tafoya and centers on two Philadelphia friends and delinquents (Brian Tyree Henry and Wagner Moura of Atlanta and Narcos, respectively) who attempt to rob a house in the country by posing as DEA agents, only to accidentally stumble upon the biggest drug-smuggling ring on the East Coast. Marin Ireland, Ving Rhames, and Kate Mulgrew also star, while Ridley Scott directs the first of today's two episodes and also serves as a producer on the series. The six remaining episodes are released once weekly through April 25.
Not my kind of thing...

The Electric State          (movie)         (3:01 am, Netflix)
In an alternate, dystopian version of 1990s America, Michelle (Millie Bobby Brown), an orphaned teenager, navigates life in a society where sentient robots resembling cartoons and mascots, who once served peacefully among humans, now live in exile following a failed uprising. Everything Michelle thinks she knows about the world is upended one night when she’s visited by Cosmo, a sweet, mysterious robot who appears to be controlled by Christopher Michelle’s genius younger brother whom she thought was dead. Determined to find the beloved sibling she thought she had lost, Michelle sets out across the American southwest with Cosmo, and soon finds herself reluctantly joining forces with Keats (Chris Pratt), a low-rent smuggler, and his wisecracking robot sidekick, Herman (voiced by Anthony Mackie). As they venture into the Exclusion Zone, a walled-off corner in the desert where robots now exist on their own, Keats and Michelle find a strange, colorful group of new animatronic allies and begin to learn that the forces behind Christopher’s disappearance are more sinister than they ever expected. Ke Huy Quan, Jason Alexander, Stanley Tucci, Woody Harrelson, Brian Cox, Jenny Slate, and Giancarlo Esposito also star in this adaptation of a Simon Stålenhag graphic novel directed by the Russo brothers.  2h 8m.
Meh... Maybe if it weren't on Netflix and didn't star Millie Bobby Brown...

My Husband's Mistress      (movie)       (3:01 am, Tubi)
A successful businesswoman uncovers her husband’s affair and sets out to destroy his career—and his life. Stars Raylene Harewood, Rainbow Sun Francks, Jessica Thomas, Christopher Omari, and Josette Jorge. 1 hr 28 min. Announced for today, but the Tubi page for the movie says "Content Unavailable," which usually means that the film has been delayed.
Sounds unpleasant.

     Broadcast and cable:

I'll need to record this, but I plan to watch it.

         Saturday, March 15

I'm sure I will track this down to watch at some point...

         Sunday, March 16

 https://www.mylifetime.com/movies/playing-with-fire
Comerford is the other one - Comerford, Kristi Murdock, Brianna Cohen, and maybe Skye Coyne are Lifetime's recent "It Girls".
Anyway, this one I will have to record...
